Let me tell you what happened yesterday

No Margo - no b*tt wiping required.... And I could really laugh if it didn't hurt so bad  - unplanned trips - indeed... hummphh....

Thanks for the hug - now that is what I was looking for... can't you pop in for a quick meal preparation, too....???

I am sure sorry you got hurt... it sucks!

You are just going along fine then OUCH! ... you gotta put up with the pain and and aggravation...

Just rest up as best ya can... those boo-boos will slowly just go away....

OUCH!!!!! You sure need a BIG HUG! At our age, falling hurts, with or without extra padding.

I am sorry that you got hurt.  I HATE to fall and it has happened several times to me this year.  Luckily I was not really badly hurt.

Sorry about your fall. Your bruises will look worse before they look better but you should start to feel better in a few days.

Shelia.....Sorry for your fall and owies that resulted in that fall.  Yes, it's a whole he--
of alot worse when you're "over the hill" like some of us.  And it's usually in the dumbest places we fall.  I fell coming out of my kitchen into my garage 4 years ago and shattered my right knee.  I completely over-shot the one step and landed on the hard cement garage floor on my right heel, therefore shattering the knee.  We have a good ortho man here at our hospital who put "Humpty" back together again in surgery with bolts, screws and pins but I didn't walk for almost 3 1/2 months.  I'm all healed now but the old Arthritis boys like to visit that knee all the time now it seems. It's funny how we take "walking" for granted until something happens that makes us sit up, take notice and give thanks for those little things.
So, yes, you are getting all the empathy you deserve and here's more hugs for you and I hope you recover real darned fast!!

I feel your pain. I substitute teach and was in second grade class when it happened to me. I was sitting down and missed the chair. Hurt like crazy. There are 24 second graders watching. I am still pre op so I am large and I have had both knees replaced so I cannot put my weight on my knees. Now how am I going to get up? I had to ask the four biggest boys to help pull me up.  I have been back in that classroom once since and they asked me if they would need to help me up again. After some time passes it will be funny. But I do feel your pain.

I hope that you feel better soon.  Try to get yourself a hot shower and some rest...
